4、tuaryundercurrenttopography.Thetidalresultsofthemodelareinlinewiththefielddatafromstations.Theresultsindicatethatthetypeoftidesnearoldrivermouthisdiurnalitbecomestobeirregulardiurnalirregularsemidiurnalregularsemidiurnal

5、fromtheoldrivermouthtobothsides.Itisofirregulardiurnaltidestothewestofcurrentrivermouthisofirregularsemidiurnaltidestotheeastofcurrentrivermouth.Thetidalcurrentellipsesofthefourmaintidesareflatnearsheindicatingthetidalcu

6、rrentsareparalleltothecoastlinearemeroundindeeperwaterindicatingthatthetidalcurrentsarerotating.Thefloodcurrentisfromnthtosouthi.e.:fromBohaiBaytoLaizhouBaybypassingthemouthspit.Theebbcurrentisfromsouthtonthi.e.:fromLaiz

7、houBaytoBohaiBaybypassingthemouthspit.Thevelocityoftidalcurrentsisusuallynomethan85cms.Affectedbytheoutwardsmouthspitthecurrentsarestronghereheadlresidualcurrentsexisttheleftoneiscyclonicwhiletherightoneisanticyclonicthe
